EARTH – Waste

‘Australians admit to throwing away $5.3 billion worth of food every year.’ (E1)

Who could use what you threw away or replaced today?

With winter upon us it’s time to stop and think…are you warm and cosy in bed at night? What if you were on the street with no heater, no fire, no doona, no blanket and no jumper? You’d be freezing your butt off!

Why not do a clean our of the unwanted warm clothes and blankets you no longer need. There are plenty of Aussies out there who would love the warmth of your old replaced winter warmers while you enjoy the comfort and warmth of your new doona, blanket and winter fashions.

To help keep others warm this winter there are plenty willing to help take care of you unwanted items and connect them with those who need them most. Clean out the cupboards ready for spring and donate the old items to others in need.
