This is the beginning, realising what you really want to be doing, then doing it.  It starts from within yourSELF and will crossover into the other themes of EARTH, WANDERINGS and SUPPORT as it evolves.  Ultimately you have to help yourself before you can help others.  You will be happier, healthier, more optimistic and that enthusiasm will rub off onto others.

Set yourself a challenge.  If you have goals – great start, if you don’t, or they’re not written down, make that today’s challenge.  Imagine there are no limitations.  You can do ANYTHING. Don’t stop when you can’t think of anymore.  There are plenty of places to go and experiences to have – get to 50 then 100 and then put the list where you can add to it when you think of more.  Believe in your goals and take action to achieve them.  Find a supporter, friend or mentor to hold you accountable and see what  you can do.  Try leaving conditioned thinking behind and think outside the square – the grass is greener and so are you!

Start with something that resonates with you and know what you are trying to achieve.  Build and improve upon it until it’s great!  You can’t achieve anything, if you don’t know what you’re trying to achieve.  Once you know, it will be much more enjoyable to do, and you’ll persist to achieve what you set out to do if it’s something of interest or passion to you.

Start changing everything from ordinary to extraordinary today, by simply SMILING at someone.  Say ‘Good morning or good afternoon‘ to them.  This simple and free connection will make their day and yours.  Do it everyday to a complete stranger, and you’ll feel great.

In order to achieve anything you are going to need your Health, so whether you are an avid fitness freak or a couch potato do an honest assessment of your health and if necessary, start improving it first, to get you in the right frame of mind for setting all the goals and finding out what you really want out of this thing called LIFE.

SELF consists of five categories of discovery as follows:

  • Growth - personal growth, discovering who we are, where we want to be and why we’re not there yet
  • Knowledge - broadening our education in health, language, business, property, shares
  • Hobbies - activities or interests you enjoy for leisure, pleasure or relaxation
  • Social - getting together with friends and family, new and old, to interact, catchup and spend time together
