Did you make the most of today?

Hobbies is a range of activities or interests you enjoy for leisure, pleasure or relaxation, which is not your main occupation.  They are import for your body (see Health), mind (see Growth) and Social interactions, stimulating your emotional state by boosting your immune system.  Staying physically active helps keeps you moving, staying mentally active helps prevent Alzheimers or other diseases and Social connections help you keep a sense of belonging and purpose.

Hobbies include cooking, camping, fishing, knitting, sewing, gardening, reading, playing a musical instrument, painting, rock climbing, sport, photography, woodwork, bushwalking,  collecting, singing in a choir, learning a language, bird watching, crossword puzzles, sudoku, genealogy, volunteering (see SUPPORT), jigsaw puzzles, jewellery making, travelling (see WANDERINGS) and belly dancing to name a few.  There will be Hobbies that cross over into other aspects of your life expanding your Knowledge, bettering your Health, WANDERING about, SUPPORTing others and sustaining the EARTH.

Back2Basics…do you have a hobby?  Do you enjoy it?  Is their something you enjoy, would like to learn more about an aspect you’d like to improve?  If you want to be healthier why not consider a sport.  If you want to be more social take a cooking class.  If you want to help people try volunteering.  Find something that resonates with you and do it.  If you find time a constraint why not consider reading a book.  Put aside 20mins a day for yourself and start something new and enjoy the satisfaction.
